Issue
An international financial institution had outgrown its European roots.
The process of re-engineering its business to tackle the challenge
of the globalisation of markets had been completed successfully. The
next step, required to achieve continuing success, was the review
and realignment of traditional eurocentric approaches to "expatriation".
The majority of management and staff were non-European and the concept
of a single headquarters was outmoded.
Solution
ircc worked through the Continous
Alignment methodology to establish a relevant paradigm for international
mobility, designed an appropriate compensation architecture to meet
business needs and provided communications, training and implementation
support to client HR staff and line management in the roll-out of
the new approach to international mobility.
